Adding Fields to People, Plots, Burial or Sales
Account Administrators of a Cemify Account can:
Add or Edit fields for People, Plots, Burials or Sales.

Step by Step Instructions to Add a Field:
- Go to 'Account & system settings' from the top right menu:
- Under ‘SYSTEM CONFIGURATION’ go to ‘Field Configuration’:
- Select which tab within this page you want to edit:
- Scroll to the very bottom and click the ‘Add a custom field’ button:
- A screen will pop up that is titled ‘Add a new field to burial records’. Fill in the ‘Field Category’ and the ‘Name of Field’. Then select the ‘Field type’. Depending on the type you choose, there may be additional steps. For example, if you select ‘Select From Options, ’ an additional field will appear that says ‘Selectable Options (Separate with comma)’. When you have filled in all the open fields, click the ‘Add Field’ button:
- After you click ‘Add field,’ be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save Field Changes’. This will ensure all the changes you just made are permanently saved:
- Your field should now be successfully added.
