Tasks Tab

The Tasks feature in Cemify allows you to keep track of cemetery-related tasks and assign them to yourself or other users. This is helpful for managing follow-ups, maintenance items, administrative work, or any other internal to-dos.

Tasks can be assigned to specific users and include due dates and notes to help keep work organized and on schedule.

Important Notes About Task Visibility

  • You can only view tasks that are assigned to you.
  • If you create a task and assign it to another user, only that user will be able to see the task.
  • Tasks are not shared or visible across users unless they are explicitly assigned.

This design helps ensure tasks remain clear, focused, and relevant to each user’s responsibilities.

Best Practices

  • Use clear, descriptive task titles so the purpose is immediately obvious.
  • Add notes for additional context, especially if the task relates to a specific record or request.
  • Double-check the assigned user before saving, since tasks are not visible to the creator unless they are also the assignee.
